#264: Why do people hate on Greek life so much? I mean who was the person that said we cant use TFM because we dont go to UT and that no one thinks were cool but ourselves? Also the kind person who gave us the style points on the loafers and instructed us to use Daddys Money deserves a shout out. These people are presumably really cool and beyond that are also capable of perceiving what every one else around them think is cool. They also probably have lots of friends and are really fun to party with. Just kidding. In ten years these people will realize that their resentment towards greeks is really just a reflection of their own insecurity. This will come just in time to notice that many of the successful people around them are/were greek and that no one is looking at their Polaroid App blog. Ten minutes later their parents will knock on their bedroom door and start the talk about moving out. The rejection from Starbucks was the last straw. The super cool Greek basher will then hopelessly try to navigate the productive world with the complete dearth of social skills they developed in college while posting anonymous pithy comments directed at Greeks. These Greeks, by the way, have done nothing to you but buy you beer and give you a place to party while maintaining a GPA that is above the school average. Admittedly, we can be a little flamboyant about our self confidence but thats only because we know that cool is whatever we want it to be. #TFM.
