27/06/2014 Double standards or incompetence? The State Department of the USA doesnt trust data of the UN on the Ukrainian refugees. Washington doesnt trust data of the UN on number of the Ukrainian refugees to Russia. The doubt concerning reliability of information was expressed by the deputy official representative of U.S. State Department Mari Harf. We will remind, the commission of the UN visited camps of the Ukrainian refugees in the territory of Russia and after that submitted the report. It said that more than 110 thousand Ukrainian citizens ran to Russia during the conflict, another 45 inhabitants of the East of Ukraine , according to the UN, got over to other regions of the country . Answering a request of journalists to comment on this information, Mari Harf declared that in State Department dont consider these figures reliable. When journalists asked trusts whether the U.S. administration of the United Nations, Marie Harf answered in the affirmative. Some number of people certainly crossed border, but say that is hundreds thousands people, it is impossible, - told Harf. Journalists reminded her that it is a question not of hundred thousands, but of 110 thousand refugees. At present we dont consider that information about mass movement of refugees from Ukraine to Russia reliable and takes place, - Mari Harf declared. She added that the U.S. State Department has no own confirmations to these data. Meanwhile, because of a situation aggravation in the southeast of Ukraine the flow of refugees to Russia sharply increased: in particular to the border of the Rostov region every day there arrive about 10 thousand citizens of Ukraine. The part from them remains in the region, others follow transit.
