»»»»»27 Structures damages in fire: Srinagar July 19, 2013: Four Government offices, twenty two shops and house got damaged in fire incidents in Valley. During intervening night of 18/19.07.2013, fire broke out in the Main Market Sogam, Kupwara, in the jurisdiction of police station Sogam, resulting in damage to four offices, Treasury, Post office, Library, AEE irrigation Office and twenty-two shops. Moreover, some civilians and an officer sustained minor injuries in the incident. A case FIR number 57/13 under section 436 RPC has been registered in this regard. In another incident, due to leakage of LPG gas, fire broke out in the residential house of Farooq Ahmad Bhat resident of Dhobi Mohalla, Batamaloo, Srinagar, in the jurisdiction of police station Batamaloo, resulting in partial damage to the house.
