#281 In a certain conf room very recently, almost all seats were filled except the one by my side. Some Indian girl came late looking for a seat, also she happened to be the only girl in the room. Obviously room stood still, speaker halted talk, everyone watched her go around looking for a seat & unexpectedly picked the spot next to me ! Could see green eyes in all others ! Had seen her for the first time. After initial reluctant baat-cheet, found that she was very charming, friendly, sharp grasp & thoda-sa geeky. A rear combination among descendants of venus, I may add. We had frequent cross talks while lecture was on, which didnt appear interesting to me ! While I came to know she knew background of that ongoing talk, geeky jho hai & hence was also not keen on listening to it. Ek-doosron ka parichay bada. Not usual that some unknown girl interested in knowing me & asking about me as much as I tried asking her !! Time just flew without knowledge. For the first time, wished boring lectures should be extended for long hours. When class ended which I wished should never, rest of the folks started to leave the hall, I started to feel unhappy :(. But, noticed that she continued to be seated and showed no slight urge in picking up her bag & stuff to leave. I too sat along. Woh baat karti rahi aur mein sun raha tha... hum do hi log they, kuch waqt bitaya. Muh mein baat tha, to invite for coffee/soda kuch bhi. Couldnt. Held back. Also, Im unique in my own way for not liking coffee for which I can never ask any one for it !! But achanak unexpectedly ek word bhol diya, for which I regret even today... to be continued.. next post !!!
