28th August – Kangaroo Its Aimee’s birthday tomorrow (the 29th) and she is in Australia, because of the time difference and the fact I am uploading this after midday on the 28th it is now officially her birthday in Australia. I hope you have a very happy birthday Aimee x I have to thank Jeff Hayes for this design, I saw him in a photograph holding a similar kangaroo, I think it may have been at the balloon event Twist and Shout, so thank you Jeff for inspiring me. The Kangaroo is made from about 14 or 15 balloons, a mixture of 160s (ears, joey, teeth, pupils and eyebrows) 260s (tail, node, head, eyes, arms, pouch), 350s (legs, feet, snout, body) and hearts (gloves). I am really pleased with how she came out and she is now happily hopping around my garden.
