29 DEC 2014 MONDAY EPISODE Episode 141: * AJ and MC are talking outside about braille school classes. Apparently AJ has a friend who is blind and can help teach MC how to live without sight. AJ mentions her parents and continues to go on and on about the teacher and the classes. MC asks about Juanito. AJ will go to check on him and if hes awake she will bring him out to her. Just then Mayita shouts, Marichuy! Marichuy! and runs with Cuate chasing her. MC smiles and stands as Mayita comes to her. They hug and have a happy reunion! Mayita doesnt notice that MC isnt looking at her. Mayita tells MC that JM left on a trip and that Nellie brought her. MC laughs about Nellies past reputation. Mayita assures MC that Granny Nellie has changed. Thats when Nellie walks up and Cuate starts to bark. MC kneels down to hug and say hello to Cuate - Nellie watches MC and notices something odd. As Nellie starts to talk, MC stands and wonders who is it? Nellie waves her hand in front of MCs face which is a dead giveaway to MCs act THAT SHES STILL BLIND!!! (UH-OH!) MC panics and stutters. Nellie knows deception when she sees it and asks bluntly why is she lying to JM about her eye sight? * Pat and Ceci talk in the house about Steffie being interred as a mental patient in the psychiatric clinic. They wonder about Isa - where she is? Pat tells Ceci that Isa is in jail and will be for many years which leaves Steffie to suffer in the mental hospital all alone. * Isa is deep in her own thought grumbles as she sits alone in her cell. She grumbles against Steffie. As Isa starts to verbalize her hostility about becoming Steffie worst enemy, the guard comes up and tells Isa that Steffie has been interred as a mental patient in the psych. clinic. Isa is impactado (shocked). * Steffie stands out in the garden and starts to argue with a crazy female patient who is kneeling on the ground. Steffie declares that shes sane, shes smart and a decent lady. The patient tells her to shut up! They argue and Steffie then begins to have a flashback - about Ramon shooting MC at the theater. Steffie starts to bang her head on the tree trunk. * Mayita and MC hug and Cuate is on MCs lap as MC discusses with Nellie about her seeing act with JM. AJ returns to tell MC that Juanito is awake and inside with Cande. MC tells AJ to take Mayita in to see her little brother. Mayita is super-excited. As AJ and Mayita leave, MC and Nellie stay outside to talk. Nellie turns the discussion into her own little confession and apology session with MC. MC is surprised and listens. Nellie slowly starts to turn on the teardrops and play on MCs feelings. MC continues to listen. Nellie mentions her daughter Viv and knows what she did was horribly wrong. MC responds briefly and totally understands. * Mayita, Cande and AJ are inside playing and changing Juanito. Cande and Mayita talk about when MC first found Cuate on the street - flashback of Cuate following MC to church and around the old neighborhood, and MC convincing Cande to let her keep the puppy dog. Cande continues to tell Mayita about MC and the neighborhood kids giving Cuate a bath in the wash station at the apartment complex (with flashback). Mayita and AJ shock Cande with the news that MC and Nellie are outside talking. * Nellie convinces MC that she is totally sincere in her confession and apology and is taking responsibility for her actions and attitude. MC tells her that she can be happy and content with her life now; MC forgives her. Nellie really pours on the tears now. They hug. Nellie says thank you; she knows that she can change and owes it all to MCs help. Nellie then changes the subject back to talking about MC and JM. MC stands up and is stunned. * JM is on the plane thought bubbling to himself about saying good-bye to MC (flashback). * Nellie needs to talk with MC about whether she and JM still love each other. Nellie says that JM is on a plane right now, because he loves her so much he cant stop thinking about her and needed to get away to hopefully make the thoughts stop. MC doesnt believe it and thinks he doesnt care and doesnt want anything to do with her or her son and tries to convince Nellie (and herself) that she doesnt love JM. Nellie sees right through this act and thinks she still cares deeply for JM also. MC tells her thats a lie! then asks Nellie to keep a secret for her. * JM continues his thought bubbles - this time its about the last time he kissed MC. * Dr. meets with Amadors mom in the ICU cubicle. Amador is bandaged completely from head to toe and apparently the prognosis isnt good. Mom is crying as Dr. explains that Amadors injuries from the accident were so severe that he is in grave condition and he may not survive. * Cande and Ceci are now outside with MC. MC tells them about her conversation with Nellie and Nellies change in attitude and repentance. Ceci tells them that finding out the truth about Vivs crimes may have had something to do with Nellies drastic changes. * At the castle, Mayita, with Cuate following on her heels, runs into the front hall. Nellie stops her on the stairs - Mayita says shes going upstairs to do her homework. Mayita and Cuate continue upstairs. Nellie tells Balbina that MC is still blind. * In Fantasyland with Granny M., Mayita tells her about her visit with MC and Juanito. Mayita adores her little brother a whole lot but shes sad because MC is still blind and Dad thinks otherwise. Granny M. does her best to console Mayita. * Nellie asks Balbina to let her know when JM calls - she needs to talk with him. * MC, with Juanito in her arms, talks in the nursery with AJ. AJ presses MC to forget all about JM and get on with her life with her son. MC believes her and thinks that the only thing good JM gave her was her son. * Israel stops by the mansion and asks Martirio if he can speak with MC. Martirio directs him to the living room. * MC and AJ continue their talk - AJ continues to press MC to forget all about JM, so she can find someone new to love. MC shoots back that will never happen, she has her son and thats all she needs. Martirio comes in and tells MC that Israel is there. MC perks up and smiles. * JM is in his hotel room, thought bubbling about MC crying. He makes a call on his cell phone. * On the sofa in the living room, MC talks with Israel about him examining her eyes and seeing if its possible for her to recover her sight. He presses to convince her to come to his office for an appointment. * JM calls the castle. Balbina answers and tells him about Rocios phone call. JM is happy to hear it. As they talk, Balbina takes the phone to Nellie in her room. Nellie gets on the phone and slowly and then bluntly tells JM the shocking news -- MC IS STILL BLIND!! She explains how she discovered this during her and Mayitas visit with MC this afternoon. JM realizes that MC played him for a fool with her great acting job - he asks about the visit. They discuss how excited and happy Mayita is at the castle. She tells JM to have a great trip and see you soon. They hang up. JM is stunned by MCs lies. * MC talks with Israel about the exams and recovering her sight. He really wants to help her and have her come to his office for the initial exam. MC wants to talk with her parents first. * JM grumbles to himself about the acting and the lies. He realizes that he still loves her and will always love her. Shes the only girl for him. * Pat and Ceci join Israel and MC in the living room. Israel explains about his wanting to do an initial exam of MCs eyes to see why her sight hasnt returned - then about the additional tests and prognosis and potential for an operation. Pat has doubts - Israel assures them that it will work. MC and Ceci agree to the appointment. * In the waiting room, Pat and Ceci talk and pray for good news. AJ sits, reads her magazine and is a bit indifferent. * In the exam room, Israel helps MC sit down the chair. * JM is on the plane - thought bubbling about getting to the truth and never separating from MC ever again. * Israel tells AJ, Ceci, Pat and MC the results of his initial exam. MC is nervous about having to go back to the hospital. AJ assures her they will all be there for her. She agrees to go - for her son. * JM returns home to the castle. Mayita is the first to give him a welcome home hug. She starts chattering a mile a minute about her visit with her little brother and about MCs blindness. JM knows. He tells Mayita that he returned to bring MC and Juanito to the castle to live with them forever. Mayita runs off to talk with Balbina. * Cande, AJ and MC go to visit Padre at the church hall rectory. MC tells Padre about her exam and about how Juanito is growing. Cande adds her comments about Juanito. Padre is very happy for the news; then he asks about JM and MC turns quiet and serious. * JM is at the mansion, holding his son and talking with Ceci about MC and her act. Ceci explains to him about the exam and results that Israel did on MCs eyes. Theres swelling in the eyes, thats why shes still blind and they need to do more exams and tests and maybe even surgery to correct the problem. * As AJ, Cande and MC walk through the church plaza, JM runs up to them - he needs to talk with MC. MC is really bothered by him and wants him to leave her alone - AJ tries to defend MCs wishes. JM wont back off - he really needs to speak with MC. ADVANCE: JM is more determined than ever to reconcile with MC
