294 [Jude, Psalm 140, Joel 1-3] I contend earnestly for the faith. I do not indulge in gross immorality. I do not defile my flesh. I do not reject authority. I do not revile angelic majesties. I do not grumble. I do not find fault with others. I do not follow after my own lusts. I do not speak arrogantly. I do not flatter people for the sake of gaining an advantage. I do not mock. I do not follow after my ungodly lusts. I do not cause divisions. I am not worldly-minded. I am not devoid of the Spirit. I build myself up on my most holy faith. I pray in the Holy Spirit. I keep myself in the love of God. I wait anxiously for the mercy of my Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. I have mercy on some who doubt. I save others (via sharing the good news of Christ) snatching them out of the fire. I have mercy on some with fear hating even the garment polluted by the flesh. I am able to be kept from stumbling by my Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. I am able to stand in the presence of God’s glory blameless with great joy by my Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. I ask God to rescue me from evil people. I ask God to preserve me from violent people. I ask God to keep me from the hands of the wicked. I am righteous. I give thanks to God’s name. I dwell in God’s presence. I cry to God for His blessing on the land, the crops and the herds that they be abundant. I cry to God to stop fires from devouring forests and land. I cry to God to provide water in our lakes and streams. I return to God with all my heart. I return to God with fasting. I return to God with weeping. I return to God with mourning. I rend (tear in two) my heart, not my garments. I return to the Lord my God for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in loving-kindness and relenting of evil. I rejoice. I am glad in the Lord my God. - Affirmations of My Biblical Faith –
