2ND PERIOD SUMMARY: After forty minutes of play the boys even it up at 2-2! The second frame offered much more excitement than the first as both teams seemed to play away the affects of Christmas dinner. Unlike the first, chances were abundant particularly for the Knights. Michael McCarron started things off scoring only 46 seconds into the period using a slick wrist shot that beat Johnston up high on the power play levelling things up at one goal a piece. However, Christian Digiacinto would answer for the Spitfires just before the midway mark on a Windsor power play as he banked an odd wrap around goal off Tyler Parsons and in. This restored the Spits lead making it 2-1. The rest of the period was dominated by the Knights as they drew key penalties and eventually scored as Mitch Marner roofed a beauty wrist shot that beat Johnston glove side with help via an assist from Aiden Jamieson. Tyler Parsons was solid once again and Chris Martenet showed us the value of blocking shots on numerous occasions while all four of the teams lines began to click offensively! The boys will look for more of the same in the third. Shots brought to you by Mac OutPost: London - 24 Windsor - 23 GO KNIGHTS GO!
