2am... in NYC...Honey, Im Home...Had a wonderful 2 nights & 1 fantastic day...Horrific Fantastic Day & I Feel Amazing. :) Today, I was in O.R. as I got up on the table & got my ankles taped together & a big brawny nurse named Carmello took my hands, locked his fingers between mine & pulled them tight above my head as he stood behind me & pressed them down on the steel table so I couldnt move. Its in my record I become extremely violent when in pain & I warned them. I was held down under the xray machine as my doctor loaded my thigh with tons of Novocaine & then with a big fat juicy needle went right in between my hip socket & leg ball joint & fired away with loads of Cortisone filling the socket. I was able to watch it all on the monitor. It hurt & burned like Hell. I screamed only twice & fought like crazy to no avail. I sprain Carmellos thumbs & dug my nails into the top of his hands. He quickly put our fists on each side of my ears & put the weight of his chest on the top of my forehead head & used his shoulders & forearms to keep me pinned down & kept yelling breathe, breathe, & blowing in my face...breathe..e on breathe. I didnt even realize I wasnt breathing, I couldnt even yell or scream. I was frozen stiff in the most incredible pain & kept trying to leave my body with Chi-Qong to go to a good place but it was dark & there was no escape. I kept hearing breathe, breathe but I was too scared. I can hold my breath easy for 70 seconds & go to 90 in pain...I never make 2 minutes. I finally gasp & the only thing hurting was my hands & chest. The hip pain was totally gone. It took a couple of minutes for my breathing & blood pressure to get back to normal & I got up & jumped off that table right to the floor...no help or stool. Yea Baby...I was jumping around, dancing & doing Kung Fu kicks...lol The doctor yelled, slow down, your hip is blown out & youre gonna make it worst. I said, I dont care, Im having these moments. Its affirm, I have to have hip replacement but I made it clear, not until after summer. I am NOT spending a third summer in & out of the hospital again. So I walked, I jogged, I jumped around when I got outside & kept showing all my friends what I could do. After 4 hours the novocaine wore off which slowed me down a bit but the injection slammed & Im doing good. If it lasts a month or even a week, Im grateful & celebrating every moment of it.
