2nd Meeting in October~ Such a nice day today... :) We had some new comers which was great! Thank you for bringing new friends, people :D Our guest speaker tonight was Terry, a minister from City North church. He shared about his journey with God, how he met God and became who he is now. For him, something changed when he helped his sick brother by giving him some of Terrys bone marrow. Terry, someone bad, gave his life for his brother, someone good, to save them. This changed how he saw Gods love for him. Jesus, someone good, gave his life for Terry, someone bad, to save him. How did this work? Terry eventually accepted Jesus into his life. Nothing changed for a while. But one day when he was praying, he felt Gods presence. And ever since then, God has been talking to him, leading him where he is now. Terry found his life purpose being Introducing this amazing Jesus to others and Making life better for others. That is why he is a minister and he wants to get to know people so he can make life better for them. He wants to share this love of God with others which has changed his life. What is your purpose in life? Where is God in your life? Have a think :) Next meeting is 4th of November, Tuesday at South City C3 Church again.
