These outcasts argue that the slit experiment can best be explained with particles or waves traveling backwards in time. Afshar’s experiment is significant (and politically sensitive) in that it attacks Bohr’s Complementarity. I will not evaluate the merits of Afshar’s physical interpretation (or of that of his critics) because it requires two absurd assumptions unworthy of my time: • that light consists of particles • that these particles have the ability to travel to the past.
