The rest of this week will be somewhat unsettled with continued chances of showers. TODAY: There will be a chance of scattered showers with the highest chances of rain remaining southeast of the region. Skies will be mostly cloudy otherwise. Temperatures should be cooler and in the mid to upper 70s! Winds will be somewhat gusty and will be E at 10-15mph. TONIGHT: There will be a chance of scattered showers overnight with most chances of substantial rainfall remaining toward the southeast. Skies should be cloudy otherwise. Temperatures should be in the low 60s in NW suburbs and upper 60s in the metro area. Winds E at 5-10mph. TUESDAY: Chances of scattered showers should continue as a low-pressure system moves along the Atlantic coast. Skies should be mostly cloudy otherwise and temperatures should be in the mid to upper 70s. Wind E at 10-15mph. TUESDAY NIGHT: There will be a slight chance of showers, especially early. Skies should be mostly cloudy otherwise. Temperatures should be in the low 60s in NW suburbs and upper 60s in the metro area. Wind NE at 5-10mph. LOOKING AHEAD: The rain should be followed by somewhat drier conditions on Wednesday.
