3-4 AM I went out to see the super moon tonight. After moon-bathing on the deck for a few minutes, got in the car and went to Safeway for a bite of something thats not good for me. Came back out and drove down to Hudson Point. The moon was behind me at that time but there was a bank of fog along the shoreline on Whidbey Island and it was magical watching the fog lights and the lighthouse in action while listening to the waves and intermittently the fog horn calling in its bass voice Heres where we are, and the approaching barge answering in baritone, This is us. Hypnotic.
