3/5/14 Appreciations: Infinity on a bagel... 1. Each day, I find myself stepping within, to find the subtle rhythm of energies that lay, just below the surface; this is a gift to discover. We live in a point A to point B society, full of straight lines, and square boxes. But the soul is not bound by rigid forms and is destined to wonder off in crooked directions, or perhaps to dance in lovely spiral paths among the stars. So, even in stillness there is a seeking, a hunger for deeper exploration, and a quest for balance, that equilibrium that lies, infinitely within. 2. I try to hold, onto the nights explorations, even as they slip between my fingers, like a wave retreating swiftly from the shores of my limited conscious mind. But, I do manage to retain some semblance of the experience, something as illusive as wind stays with me, and whispers softly to me, whenever I care to bend an ear. We are, after all, getting to know each other more these days. 3. The world is not nearly as solid as it may appear, thank god! How, otherwise, would things and people flow, each one of us a river, coursing steadily through deep canyons and grassy plains, dark forests and wind swept desert sands, to meet our destiny, amongst the laughing waves...
