## 3 ## ...... (Al- Hijab) The first time I went to our Masjid I knew I had to cover. I did not mind at all. Now I have three Hijabs, blue, white and pink, that I wear to Masjid. Now that I am Muslim, do I wear Hijab all the time??! No, I don’t, but do I wish I could? Yes, I do... :) Why??.. In Hijab I feel protected, safe and blessed by following the requests of Allah, but outside the Masjid I feel like everyone is looking at me. I have received looks all my life for being different, hurtful words too. And I have been afraid of what awaits me-verbal to physical harassment. May Allah give me strength to someday wear Hijab or may I find myself living where it is the norm...Insha Allah. Anh Ducharme
