#3 Blue Velvet: Oh dear...Blue Velvet...where the hell do I even start. Alright let me level with you, this movie is by far the weirdest movie Ive ever seen. Bizzare would be an understatement. This movie comes to us by way of David Lynch who is known for making surrealist shit like Twin Peaks. Its not so much the plot, which I found to be quite manageable. The plot basically boils down to a voyeuristic dude trying to solve a mystery. Which seems normal until you realize that not a single person talks or act like a normal human being. In fact me and matt came up with a game to play while viewing this film its called: Whos the Weirdest Person in this Scene. In one scene this question becomes quite difficult. Also as stated earlier this movie is voyeristic so it may ere on the creepy side for some of you. I dont quite know why I like this movie as much as I do, but I was transfixed by this movie and will definitely need to watch it again. That being said, this movie is not for everyone. Its not that its so deep you just dont get it, so much as this just isnt everyones cup of tea. I know that I didnt make this movie seem that great, but I think this movies amazing and if you want to stare into the mouth of madness give it a shot.
