Me: my friend, Ill be the first to call in the morning and evening, bye for now. she hung up. I was happy now that my friend had a phone, but I wasnt ready to share my day with her. I still had to digest Zwelis words. In my 14 years of life no one has ever told me they loved me beside my family, and my appearance sends out wrong messages to people because I look older than my age, and my choice of words makes me sound all mature, yet Im just a kid who still crys if she doesnt gets things done her way. I think I fell for him before he even said a word to me, but I had to prolong my response, I did not want to sound clingy or loose. After reading that text I left my phone under my pillow and put it on silent because I shared the room with my sisters (I have two sisters, Enhle was 23, working at Capitec, and Mvelo was 20, She was working for FNB, I have 1 brother Mlando who is 26 working at BHPBilliton. Im the last born). I went to the kitchen to help with chopping vegetables. Me: mom why did they leave you alone in this house. Mom: I wasnt feeling well my sugar levels are high, I needed something to calm me down. Me: I cant let you cook if youre not feeling well, lets rather wait for them to come back from town or I will cook. She just laughed at me for saying I will cook. I love cooking but I enjoy doing it when I feel like it, I dont want to be forced to the kitchen. The time was around 6:30pm. I cooked rice, grilled chicken and she helped with the salads. When I was done, I heard the car get in the garage, I assumed they were back. When I got to my room, I went to check for my phone I found 2 missed calls from Zweli, I couldnt call him back since my sisters were here, I thought of texting him but pride wouldnt let me. I decided to let him sweat a bit so I was only going to be able to talk to him the next day. My sisters dished up we had supper together, my brother was not here because of work, he would be joining us on the 29th, and my sisters were to leave the following day because the banks would be operating on the 27th. After supper we washed dishes, played cards till late. I was sleepy after the day at the games. I went to bath, then off to bed, I called Thando to wish her goodnight, after dropping the call my cousin Cebo called, I answered only to find it wasnt him
