#3. RETURN ON INVESTMENT! How you look after yourself is in direct correlation to your self worth. You should be your greatest investment, out of which you get the greatest return. So what have you been investing in yourself and has it been giving you the return you need? A few days ago I came across another - Ive tried everything but cant lose weight post, and another - I cant find my happiness type post... Dig a little deeper and you find the investment these women had been making in themselves was little to none. No time, no money, no love. A successful return relies on follow through and commitment, often putting your money where your mouth is the last hurdle, because when everything is out of balance, so is the hip pocket, it then becomes a question of not what you cant afford but what you cant afford not too. As women we often expect that our return will come from the investment we put in to others, but as a result so much of ourself suffers. A few weeks ago I was chatting to Nadia about her level of commitment. As a working mother of 5, she never questioned the return she would get out of investing in her own health and well being. It was giving more to her family then it could ever take. Over this weekend I encourage you to take a look over what return youre looking for out of your life and what investments youve made or are making to get you there... If you dont invest in yourself, who will?
