3 Vital Nutrition Facts I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, for every action there is a reaction. This is also true for your health. Drinking enough water will hydrate your body. Exercise will increase your stamina. Sufficient rest will refresh your mind and body. Managing your life in today’s busy world requires juggling your home life, career, health and many other important areas. Unfortunately your health is often what suffers when you don’t have time to get everything done. You either don’t eat the way you ought to or you skip a meal here and there. Inevitably this will catch up to you. Your body can endure a lot before it starts to send you messages and signs of weakness. The signs come in the form or fatigue, headaches, colds or flues, allergies, skins rashes and aches and pains. Knowing helpful nutrition facts and simple lifestyle tips can prevent serious health problems. Unfortunately many of us simply don’t have the time to pay attention to what we eat or to exercise. We end up eating foods that tax our bodies when our digestive systems need a detox. We sleep when we need to walk to get more energy and we keep going when we need to rest. There are simple steps we can take that are vital to sustaining our health. The following three nutrition facts require very little effort on your part, but will produce great results. Emotions Be protective of your emotions. Research has proven that negative thoughts and emotions have a dangerous effect on the body. When people are sad, depressed, anxious, worried or afraid the immune system is weakened and gives way to disease which will cause more emotional distress. Know your limits. If you’re stressed out at work, take a walk outside and get some fresh air. Humor is another way to relax and boost your spirits. Foods that boost your mood include leafy green vegetables and citrus fruits. Herbs like Licorice Root, Ashwagandha Root and Leaf, Siberian Ginseng Root and Ginger Root are helpful in adrenal support to reduce stress and calm your mind. Circulation Run, walk or stretch to get your blood circulating. This is an easy one. Your body needs to circulate your blood to carry nutrients and oxygen. Circulation also means you are moving your limbs and exercising your muscles. All of which are vital to proper bodily functions. Alkalize Consume foods high in alkalinity. A pH balance of 20 percent acid and 80 percent alkaline is ideal for normal body chemistry. Unfortunately most processed and cooked foods have an acidifying affect which lowers the blood pH. The importance of alkalinity will be covered in another article. An easy way to help create a more alkaline environment in your body is to squeeze fresh lemons in the water you drink daily. Lemons though, acidic in taste are highly alkaline once broken down in your system. On a side note, room temperature or warm water is best. Even with a hectic schedule and a busy life there are small steps we can take to sustain our bodies. If you already implement any of these tips please share your experience in the comment box below.
