Violence against women did not start with Ray Rice nor is how it was handled (reluctantly) a shock to my system. Not enough people make noise about violence against women. I dont even consider myself a feminist but youd have to be deaf, dumb or stupid to believe simply walking the Earth as a woman doesnt put you at risk.
