3 nights after Sloan found out she was a Natl Merit Semi-Finalist, she came down w some strange virus that caused fever and debilitating joint pain (the fever is gone, but still she can barely walk, hold a pen or hold or open a bottle w/o pain). She has missed 2 weeks of school. Several trips to doctors, labs, one to the ER, shes been tested for practically everything (3 results still pending) and we still dont have answers. Infectious Disease appt tomorrow, hopefully some kind of answer soon, hopefully some kind of normal soon!! This video couldnt ring truer tonight, soo tired!! Still count my blessings though, bc I know there are a lot of other Families who have or are dealing with stuff thats a lot worse than ours right now. Just another bump in the road!
