3 p.m. WEATHER: Active weather the next few days. Here’s the breakdown: for the rest of today, we’ll see partly to mostly cloudy skies with a few showers possible. Temperatures will make it up to around 80. Expect cloudy skies tonight with a few showers or thunderstorms still possible through the overnight hours. No severe weather expected through Sunday morning. Late Sunday afternoon and early evening will need to be monitored closely. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible with all the hazards: large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes. More strong thunderstorms are possible Monday, but it appears Sunday will hold the biggest threat at this time. Keep a close eye on the weather over the next 48 hours.
