3 pictures to hang! all the boxes are empty! First official day tomorrow and will be traveling to Jeff City for the first couple days this week. Soooo tired of the Move process. No wonder MOVE is a 4 letter word! Lol! Ready to get some normalcy and a break from settling in. I am happy to be in a house versus an apartment, and I love having shelter for my little car. My doggie LOVES his pet door and his yard and I love not having to walk him! :D I do not miss neighbors who slam doors hard enough to skew my pictures or knock them off the wall. I do not miss a raccoon in the ceiling, and I do not miss having to tailor my household activities to a lease guideline for quiet time. I do miss people I know. I miss getting in the car and having some idea of where I am going to end up. I miss my Millstone coffee!!!!!!! I miss the great kitchen I had in my apartment, and there are certainly some clients, who were doing very well, that I miss and hope they are continuing on the good path they were on. What I like about St. Louis so far: I like how close everything is. I live in a location that is easy to get wherever I want to go. I like the drivers. Less aggressive than Kansas City and know how to merge into traffic and are not afraid to use their turn signals! :) I like the people here. Friendly, welcoming, really appear to want to be helpful. I like the landlords for my house. Easy going and again want to help. I like my neighborhood. It is actually pretty quiet at night and I like having a little deck to sit on and listen to the birds. I like my new office and my new schedule and colleagues. I also really like my supervisors Cora and Julie. I seem to fit and that is a very good thing. :)
