3 things I am thankful for 1. I am so thankful that God created the Sabbath! One special day He set aside for just me and Him. 2. Im thankful for beautiful songs that are exactly my prayer to God. Some songs are just what I would say if I poured out my heart to Him, they just sound much better than if I tried to sing it. The music and the lyrics of this song are a culmination of my journey this summer with God and the things He taught me. Im finally surrendering everything. This is such a beautiful song, I hope you enjoy it. 3. I am thankful for the privilege of speaking (or writing) of God without my life being in danger. At vespers last night our Chaplain told the story of a woman who lived in Saudi Arabia as an undercover missionary. Her life was in constant danger, yet she faithfully served the Lord in whatever way she could. Her story (there is much more to this story) is such an inspiration and reminder of things we take for granted every day, things we dont even think about.
