3 weeks is far too long for these idiots to find a treatment that works! They put us on a formula that worked perfectly to find out today it wont work due to calorie count. Why the hell would you get our hopes up when it wasnt an option for her! Im tired of these idiot doctors and lazy nurses that think another patient is priority over our daughter. Nurses who dont understand that if formula isnt given on time her sugars will drop dramatically and she could go into a coma or a seizure but we arnt priority. To have a night nurse tell me she wont test her sugar 30 mins before a feed that we know she wont last on telling me no while nurses talk amongst themselves or are on their phones texting. Having an IV and PICC line taken out due to the lack of proper maintenance leading to having to have another placed putting our daughter in unneeded pain and stress. Im tired of people not having compassion and care for their job. We have the rare 2 nurses who will go above and beyond for our daughter even if she isnt their patient for the day. Enough is enough! Im over being nice and Im over letting some egotistical doctors who will not take advice from a world expert on GSD treat my daughter as their lab rat. I dont know where to go from here but I pray we get out of this hospital nightmare and I hope no other parent has to go thru this.
