3 years ago today, Thomas Christopher Boyd, started serving an 8 year prison sentence for killing our beautiful, 22 year old daughter Krysta. The jury decided that if you drive drunk and kill somebody as a result, it will not be tolerated, excused or ignored. You were sober when you made the decision to get drunk. A cab would have cost you 40 dollars or less, a designated driver would have cost you nothing and yet you still chose to drive drunk. And in the end, it was our daughter, our family who paid the price for that choice. We will forever pay a much higher price than any sentence you would have received. You will be eligible for parole on this day next year and we will do everything in our power to keep you in prison.
