3 years ago today on 1/23/11; I was in a horrible car accident, where I was left with 7 broken bones in my pelvis, broken ribs and hip and variety of other issues. I was unable to walk on my own for months in a wheel chair. It was one of the worst and best days of my life. If you can possibly understand that. My accident was a blessing. I gained and even larger empathy for those living life in a wheelchair or disabled. I was able to develop more of my charity vision and I gained my true passion in life from almost losing my own. Ive changed since that day. Ive grown as a women and Ive come along way! Im thankful! I was blessed! I did not sue. The person who hit me had very little and my medical was very high! It would be a person I would one day help if ever asked. It was not worth to me, I knew I was going to learn from this and I did not want negativity over nickles and dimes in my book. In the ambulance after being cut out of the car. I told the EMS pray for 3 things all while in horrific pain. 1) Everyone is ok. 2) I have no spinal damage. 3) I dont bcome a complainer and spend the rest of my life talking about my pain. All prayers answered and more! Everything I must add was made easier due to the love, support and patience of Kenny Beck. His status will probably say. I was stuck pushing her around for months, taking her to Yankee games in the chair, dealing with requests for Carvel as she was stuck at home and having her blame me for shallow halling her and not telling her she gained Weight from the accident, lol. This is my status ;) so.... Thank you Kenny for all you do and continue to do. Love you! Also, my Angels Julian and Vinny in heaven watching me since 1994 & 2000.
