30 Day Anime Challenge Day 19 - Most Epic Scene Ever Waver and Rider vs Gilgamesh (Fate/Zero) What makes this the best scene is the interaction between Rider and Waver. Throughout the series weve seen Waver turn from a whiny, brash wimp into someone who is willing to take pride in his talents, and has faced the harshest realities of the world when he discovered Casters lair. He also learned to trust people, as he rode into Excalibur with Rider (Which turned out to be a bad gamble), and in this scene, the growth weve seen just blooms into the most perfect character arc I can think of.
