30 Days of Giving Thanks Day 16 - Today I am thankful for music. Music is such an important part of my life, ups and downs there is always a song to suit my mood. I love that both my girls are so musically inclined; Brittney through school and choir at church and Tabie singing for Were Almost Home. Music is my escape for reality, my noise to drown out a bad day, a soundtrack for my life! I love that I have weird taste in music - my playlist may jump from Tony Bennett to Eminem to Vivaldi to Mayday Parade then back to Relient K and finally jumping to Metallica or Bob Schneider ....... I am all over the place here! A complete 80;s fan tho! It is never a surprise to my friends that I burst out in song or to my students that I use lyrics in class all the time. I am going to post some of my favorites in this thread and am always interested in finding new music, so dont be afraid to toss a song in the thread to enlighten me to! We start with one of my favorite songs for the past year, I just cannot listen to it enough!
