30 THINGS YOU SHOULD DO BEFORE 30;NUMBER 9- BEFORE 30 YOU SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT SOME IDEAS ON HOW TO MAKE MONEY. Before 30 as young Man or woman, you should know how to make money from people’s ignorance. We are in a world governed by information. A single information can make you a millionaire. Information leveraged by internet technology has made the likes of Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg to Create an empire in his twenties he is a billionaire because this guy has an idea that makes people to depend on him. Oluwaseun Osewa, Nigerian Founder, Nairaland Nigerian also caught an idea that made people to depend on him and today, he is very wealthy at his age. Seun, Motivated by failure in his earlier business adventure, Seun Osewa at age 23, founded Nairaland. These guyz all found a way to make people depend on them through their ideas. Before 30, Know how people can depend on you. If you don’t know how to make people to depend on you, somebody else will make money from your ignorance. You see, you make money from people’s ignorance by making them depend on you. If you don’t know how people can depend on you, you remain a slave for life. In life, people make money from other people either geniuely or by con. But even genuiely you make money from people’s ignorance. You cannot pay me for what you already know. You cannot pay me for what you already have. Somebody says, “If you understand the law of potential difference, you will know how to make money.” Of course that’s in physics, but in real life there is…POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE which is your ability – that is the difference in your abilities. For instance if I have what you don’t have so you need to pay me and depend on me to get it from me. So as I give you what you what you need from me and you pay me for it. And this is was how the concept of Entrepreneurship and business started in the olden days with trade and barter. You have yam and I have cassava then you need my cassava and I need your yam, we come together to make a deal- an exchange. Entrepreneurship is all about problem solving. I was speaking as a facilitator about a some months back at THE PROGRAMME:ENTREPRENEURSHIP NIGHT in Winners Chapel Cross River State and I charge the youths that they should think of being a solution to their immediate society and not running after whitecollar jobs which are very limited. When you start a business and your business works, you create wealth for Nigeria. Entrepreneurship is about creating product and services that will solve the everyday problem. A business is formed whenever you solve a problem. Before 30, you must have learned to use your giftens and ideas to solve problems in a definite way. The bible says, “The gift of a man is as precious ointment in his arm and wheresoever it turneth, it prospers.” (Proverbs 17:8). What does this mean? It means that as long as the man can put this gift into use productively, it prospers irrespective of his trait, colour and tribe. You see, your gifts or purpose have the capacity to engage and employ you for a life time. Learn how to turn your giftens into money. Learn to build systems around something you can do, have, what others dont have. Make people depend on your giftens. Learn how to solve problems with your gift, create a business out of what you can do. Learn how to position your gift for rewards. If you are a book writer for instance, begin to put the book together. Take them through professional editing. Give people who have gone ahead with more mature minds. Who can reposition your writeups. Learn how to publish them. Learn how to market them, know how people need you, know how people can depend on you. I remember before I started out as a publisher, I gathering and reading everything books and gathering information from seminars I attended and seminars I organized and at age 27 precisely, I publish my first book titled: ENTREPRENEURSHIP, UNVEILING THE SECRETS OF BUILDING AND RUNNING A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS, which is now an INTERNATIONAL BEST SELLER. I could achieve because I discovered very early in life that you make money through people’s ignorance. So I went on to read over 200 books, to develop myself and today by the grace I AM A STAR AUTHOR. All these happened because I had an idea and I never allowed my background to put my back on the ground. I never allowed poverty or the opinion of people to limit me. A lot of people who are good friends,family and church members tried to discourage me. But I did not allow them. And today I stand tall a winner all to the glory of God. All because I caught an idea that is making people to depend on me. So just like me, you too can make money out of people’s ignorance.
