30 years ago on this day, October 30th, 1974, in Kinshasa, Zaire, in the classic Rumble in the Jumble Muhammad Ali knocked out the mighty, powerful, Big George Foreman to retain the Heavyweight Championship of the world. I wasnt a huge Ali fan at the time, but even as a child, I was concerned that Foreman would literally kill him dead. I was in the bed when my brother-in-law ran in the house screaming, Ali won!
