303rd Chapter Meeting of Toastmasters Club of Pune held on 27th December 2014 Theme of the day was Time to reflect 26 Toastmasters and 7 guests were present SAA Kanchana Ravi Kumar started the meeting at sharp 5 pm and explained the rules and regulations of the meeting .She then asked the guests to give their introductions and then introduced the Toastmaster of the day Toastmaster of the day Manisha Singh said its how far we have come and how far we have to go and briefly took us through what took place in the current term where TMCP had 34 meetings 4 speakathons ,3 joint meetings ,163 speeches ,6 educational sessions ,16 educational titles achieved ,she also mentioned the names of those who have achieved these titles and 4 Inductions. President Azharuddin Khadri gave the last Presidential address of his term. It was a very emotional opening address in which he thanked each one for giving the opportunity of becoming President of TMCP and said that he hopes TMCP continues to be the best Club in the district and excels in 2015. Language Evaluator Rakhee Sinha introduced the word of the day ‘Reckon’ and the phrase of the day ‘See and smell the roses’ There were 6 speakers who delivered their speeches at this meeting .The first speaker R.Ravi Kumar attempted Project 3 and in his speech talked about Music Therapy and how it reduces stress ,is an antidepressant explained to us the relationship between music therapy and brain and demonstrated the 7 Swaras to us with his very melodious voice .He gave us a message that music is a divine experience .The second speaker TM Madhura Nadgauda attempted Project 4 and in her speech shared with us her personal experience of being a nervous wreck whenever she was asked to participate in any competitions at school. She also explained to us the causes of fear and how to get rid of t fear .The third speaker TM Sujata Dutta attempted Project 4 and in her speech shared her experiences of facing certain difficulties in life.In her speech she also gave us various examples of how those difficulties could be overcome. She gave us a message of shine and be good.The fourth speaker TM Aabana Rao attempted project 8 and in her speech talked about how minors should not drive without a valid driving licence.She shared a true story which was experienced by her grandfather and said it was time everyone raised their voices to demand stringent punishment. The fifth speaker TM Paras Kher attempted Project 10 and in his speech ,talked about how change is hope, is infectious and inevitable .He also gave us examples from the last 7 and a half years of his life as to how changes should be embraced .With this speech TM Paras achieved the title of Competent Communicator. The fifth speaker CC CL Hemang Mandrekar attempted Advanced Project 5:The Roast and in his speech roasted Division Governor ACG ALB Beena Mandrekar in a good way , with jokes and situations such as how she has taken over from her mother in certain ways. Evaluators ACG P.R Jose, CC Ranjit Misal Nikam, ACG ALB Beena Mandrekar, CC, ALB Surabhi Shrivastava, ACB ALB Azharuddin Khadri and DTM Prasad Sovani gave their respective speakers their feedback. Table Topics Master TM Suchita Pathak had topics based on the theme and gave equal opportunities to both Toastmasters and guests Timer TM Mudra Bhagwat was attentive and went according to the timing of the agenda Language evaluator TM Rakhee Sinha gave a detailed report on the good and not so good usage of grammar Ah Counter TM Yogesh Dhatrak gave a detailed usage of the Ahs Ums Repeated words and fillers General Evaluator Chitresh Jain gave a detailed report on the proceedings of the meeting and not only commended all role takers but gave suggestions as well President Azharuddin Khadri gave his concluding remarks and handed over the best speaker evaluator and table topics speaker honor to the winners CC CL Hemang Mandrekar received the best speaker honor ACB ALB Azharuddin Khadri received the best evaluator honor Guest Nitesh received the best table topics honor DTM Prasad Sovani also made an announcement regarding the split of TMCP ,and the charter of the new club .He cleared doubts of members regarding the split and announced the executive committee of the new club :- President: Mohit Garg VP Education: Amol Mali VP Membership: Surabhi Shrivastava VP PR: Neha Garg Secretary: Amod Kavishwar Treasurer: Vinod Sharma SAA: Binod Kumar Alok
