31 Days of Horror Day 27: Suspiria. As a horror obsessive, I feel that I am not as familiar with the works of the highly regarded Dario Argento as I should be. And when I watch movies like Suspiria, I am conflicted. Where the film is visually groundbreaking and inspiring, I feel the narrative is muddy and inconsistent. It could also be that I didnt see these films when they were released and cannot speculate if I would enjoy them more in the context of their time or not. I like the film. I am just not gushing over it like many other people seem to do. Happy Halloween!
