31 dead, 94 injured in #Xinjiang terrorist attack China has declared the explosion that occurred at an open market in Urumqi, the capital city of China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, a #terrorist attack. 31 people were killed and 94 were injured after the explosions on Thursday morning. All the injured were rushed to several hospitals, police said. Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged to severely punish the terrorists. Two cross-country vehicles without licenses driving from north to south ploughed into people in the market at 7:50 a.m, then #exploded in the market. The open-air market is located near the Renmin Park in downtown Urumqi.
