32 days to go before Christmas! My utmost regards to fellow RCNTians for being a part of our special day last October 19th, our silver wedding anniversary. I and my family wish to express our gratitude to my RCNT family especially to our ninongs and ninangs who have been very supportive to us. Looking forward to see you again in 2038! BIG THANKS! We are sending our delegates to the most awaited Rotary Youth and Leadership Awards(RYLA) which will be held in Baguio City on October 25-26, 2013. We have 11 Newgen youths and 9 Rotakids who will participate in this year’s event, the biggest delegation ever, sent by RCNT to RYLA. They will be booked in Crown Legacy Hotel located at the heart of the city. There are lots of exciting and thrilling activities prepared for them to develop their skills and enhance their personality such as: Talent Night, Amazing Race, Team Building, Workshops and Halloween Party. Delegates are requested to bring Halloween costumes or masks for this affair. Recognitions and awarding of certificates will be announced afterwards. Entertainment and fellowship follows. RYLA program of event is now available. You may request a copy to Pres. August or to our Bulletin Chair Jerwin Paragas. Our Korea sister club sent another email dated October 22 confirming us on our visit for booking preparations. They are asking how many Rotarians will attend their November 18th induction. We have just only three weeks period remaining and yet, there was no confirmation about this matter to them. I vehemently ask assistance to whoever has connections with travel agencies to help me in arranging this tour to South Korea. Interested members may now settle your travel fees to Treas. Vlad Santillan. Deadline is until October 28, 2013. The PR and Train the Trainers seminar was rescheduled due to typhoon Santi that devastated north and central Luzon. This was tentatively moved on November 23, 2013. Further details will just be announced later due to the availability of resource speakers and the venue. All Saints Day is just a weeklong ahead of time. I would suggest that we also have our Halloween party/meeting next week. Let uss enjoy one’s camaraderie as we all “Engage Rotary and Change Lives.” By the way, 2038 is our 50th wedding anniversary!
