330 PM CDT Updated information from survey teams: ...Morris... Peak wind: estimated 80-90 mph Fatalities: none. Injuries: none. An NWS survey team concluded straight line winds caused the extensive damage in Morris. Winds of 80-90 mph caused a tremendous amount of tree damage over a widespread area including essentially the entire town of Morris. Power poles were also snapped.
