#337: Suicide is an interesting topic. \\ Stop and think, arent we the ignorant ones, who never put a blade by the throat? \\ Why is it selfish to the suicidal individuals to end their suffering? Isnt it selfish of EVERYONE ELSE around them to advocate staying alive? \\ Society has us believe what is morally right and what is morally wrong. Everyone is different. Each and every person decides what morals they will pursue. Respect those who decide to kill themselves I would say, as horrible as that might sound to some people. \\ Not everyone lives to serve others. Your friends and family arent there to serve you silver platters. You respect them as your friends and family. Their opinions matter as much as yours. \\ Another point though, we still are high school students. I do think suicidal thoughts are generated irrationally. We are all human! We experience emotions, we experience fears, we experience pain. But you know you will recover. People are innately hopeful, thats whats keeping everyone from killing themselves to a certain degree Id say.
