34 years ago today, a little movie called Friday the 13th made its debut at your local movie theater. Jason Voorhees wasnt the villain in the first film, that honor went to his mother, Pamela Sue Voorhees as portrayed by Betsy Palmer. This movie however, launched one of the most durable franchises in horror cinema history. {and i am probably telling you what you already know :) } Happy 34th Anniversary Friday the 13th!
