35. My favorite things: When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when Im feeling sad...I simply remember my favorite things and then I dont feel soooooooo bad.... Puppy breath, a giggling baby, floating the river, dancing with Jessica Martin to the Company Band, the smell of rain on moss, piglets, listening to my children laughing hysterically (usually at me), my flowers, phone calls from Mary starting off with her singing a song, birds bathing in my bird bath, Kittens attacking by approaching with a side-ways walk, face holding kisses, finally hitting a harmony perfectly, randomly quoting Monty Python in search of the Holy Grail...she turned me into a newt!, having a beer in an old pub, the smell on my hands after cutting lavender, documentaries about hauntings, feeling Binkley snuggle closer to me at night, Rob Thomas, the smell of a Christmas tree, reliving all of the times my students made me laugh, drawing, painting, creating, listening to my brother sing and play his guitar, AND SLEEPING IN!
