365 Photo-a-Day Project July 8, 2013 – Swinging in the Rain If it’s Monday at 5:30 p.m. you can bet your bottom dollar that it’s going to rain. Today was no exception. From the moment we began golfing it was spitting...then on the 3rd hole I felt a big raindrop on my cheek...by the 5th it was a steady light rain...then it stopped for a while...then out came those pesky mosquitoes...then it started raining again...the geese at Brookwood loved the weather. When the last ball went into the cup on the 9th it had stopped raining and the skies were actually clearing. That is the story of my golf life on my Monday league. Were there any positives about my round of golf? Well...I really thought Phyllis’ pink ball and green tee made a striking color combo against the wet, very green grass. I didn’t like that the seat on the club car got wet, but I still had some laughs with the gals I played golf with today and I’ll be back for more of the same next week...you can bet your bottom dollar on that!
