375. Shah’s Return بشري اذ السلامه حلت بذي سلم لله حمد معترف غايه النعم Glad news! Safety returns in (love’s abode)-Zi Salam All praise to Lord! His blessings reached to maximum (1) آن خوش خبر كجاست كه اين فتح مژده داد تا جان فشانمش چو زر و سيم در قدم Where’s happy courier thru whom victory news came So that I sacrifice my soul, like gold and silver, on him(2) از بازگشت شاه چه خوش طرفه نقش بست آهنگ خصم او به سراپرده عدم With the Shah’s return what a pretty pattern did form His enemy should now move into non-existence realm(3) پيمان شكن هرآينه گردد شكسته حال ان العهود عند مليك النهي ذمم Certainly, covenant-breaker gets defeat,will stay dim Promises are always to be kept by the lords of wisdom(4) مي جست از سحاب امل رحمتي ولي جز ديد هاش معاينه بيرون نداد نم From clouds he expected clemency, such chance slim His eye could find nothing save its own tears’stream (5) در نيل غم فتاد سپهرش به طنز گفت ان قد ندمت و ما ينفع الندم He plunged into Nile of grief, heaven mocked at him ‘Ye repent now, this remorse’s no use, now keep mum’(6) ساقي چو يار مه رخ و از اهل راز بود حافظ بخورد باده و شيخ و فقيه هم Saki! Friend moon-faced, keeper of secret he did seem Hafiz took wine, Sheikh-n-Jurisprudent too joined him(7) ساقی بیا ه دور گل است و زمان عیش پیش آر جام هیچ مخور غم ز بیش و کم Saki, Come! It is the season of spring-n-pleasure time Bring cup! If ye have more or less, it’s not worrisome (8) اے دل تو جام جم بطلب ملک جم مخواه کین بود قول بلبل بستان سرائے جم Heart! ye seek the wine-cup, not Jamshid’s kingdom The nightinglale of Jamshid’s garden so used to hum (9) چون خون خصم همچو صراحی بریختی با دوستان بعیش و طرب گیر جام جم Enemy’s blood ye spilled as flagon-wine, now’s time With friends in ease and joy take the Cup; Jam-e-Jam(10) بشنو ز جام باده کہ این زال نو عروس بسیار کشت شوهر چون کیقباد و جم World’s old, acts as new bride, so did wine cup inform It killed many a husband; likes of Kaiqubad and Jam (11) حافظ بکنج میکده دارد قرارگاه کالطیر فی الحدیقه واللیث فی الاجم The corner of tavern, serves Hafiz his resting home As lives bird in the garden and lion in den’s sanctum (12)
