39 years ago tonight Bob OShea, Leo Gibbons and Myself were outside the Boston Gardens late night freezing our asses off then to be let in and pandemonium ensued..the ice was open ...the beer stands and Blades and Boards were broken into along with all the Pro shops...We grabbed a case of beer off a kid pushing 5 or 6 across....They were playing chicken on the ice with rows of seats and drunken bodies....at about 8 AM they opened the ticket office for the upcoming LED ZEPPLIN concert we all had to get about 10 tickets each only to be told a limit of 2 per person...Later that day the Mayor of the shitty of Boston Kevin White cancelled the concert...But great memories !!!
