3pm NEWS UPDATE Orange Uganda The situation at Twed Towers remains tense as high court judge justice Yasin Nyanzi refuses to step down from Erias Lukwago’s case as requested by the Attorney General, Peter Nyombi. Nyanzi lashed out at Peter Nyombi saying his conduct is embarrassing and not expected of the AG. The sodomy case in which city pastors Martin Ssempa, Solomon Male, Michael Kyazze and Robert Kaira, together with Ms Deborah Anita Kyomuhendo, a businesswoman and David Mukalazi, a musician, had appealed to high court challenging Buganda court ruling that convicted them of conspiring to tarnish pastor Kayanja’s image has failed to take off. The accused had appealed to High Court where they expressed dissatisfaction with the earlier ruling. The case was before high court judge Justice Joseph Mulangira Two students of Uganda Christian University have been arrested for stealing money and hosehold property. Daisy Agaba, 20 and Vivian Abigaba 21, were arrested by Mukono Police after a tip off from a trader who had lost his property. The duo who were planning to get married after studies were found with stolen property including stolen computer, two matresses, a 29 inch TV screen, a sofa sette, and cash worth sh800,000.
