Great lively neighborhood that feels safe at all hours, complete with excellent Dominican food, vegetable stands, variety of laundry options, and a supermarket across the street! Building: Built in 1922, 7 floors, 7th floor (top floor!), 2 elevators, 94 units, owned by a mgmt company called Chestnut Holdings. Friendly mostly Dominican community. Live-in superintendent. Apartment: Big kitchen, 3 BIG bedrooms with BIG windows & closets, furnished common space with couches, chairs, a table, projector. Tons of natural light, and we can see New Jersey from our western-facing windows. The available room is large and negotiably furnished. The apartment is clean and reasonably quiet, and we are looking for a friendly, respectful, and generally awesome third someone who is ready to get on board. Ive lived here for 2 years.
