4:25pm update: The East End storm fizzled. Another smaller cell developed and is over the Sound just about onshore in the same area along the North Fork in the next hour. Another smaller cell over Oyster Bay...the water, not the town. The severe storm that cruised through Brooklyn all the way to Long Beach is now mostly offshore of Jones Beach. All warnings have been cancelled or expired except the flood advisory for southern Nassau County that so far remains until 5:15pm.
