4-3-1-2 The only sensible formation i can come up with if the rumors of Bale in midfield are true. --------------Casillas---------- Marcelo---.Ramos---Varane----Carvajal -------------Kroos----------- ----Bale-----------Modric------ -----------James--------- -------Ronaldo--Benzema--- This formation changes to a 4-2-3-1 during attacks, with bale shuttling to forward three. James remains a no. 10 both ways. Bales defensive workrate gives cover on left while Benzemas workrate on right helps Modric out. Though Bale could be placed on RCM too. The main point is to utilize his drive (akin to di maria) without totally compromising his goalscoring (which would happen in a 4-3-3). Plus James used in his natural position. As germany also played Kroos as sole anchor, that is the only certainty in the squad. There are a lot of loopholes but when I guessed the 4-3-3 when similar news abt di maria in midfield came, there where suspected flaws too. It all comes down to the a actual play. I guessed right that time, lets see now...maybe Bale in a slightly more advancing shuttling Role could be another masterstroke by Carlo. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?? Plz comment!!
