4 Cent Ranch “LAST DA$H 4 CA$H” Cowdog Trial 2013 SUNDAY OCTOBER 6, 2013 Location will be the Squaw Valley Rodeo Grounds, 40 minutes east of Fresno on Hwy 180/Kings Canyon One day cattle trial and DA$H 4 CA$H series final. Cash awards for each division. Anyone may enter and win cash prizes, handlers already attending at least one previous trial qualify for special series prizes and awards. Points & time, arena course. Handlers competing on foot or horseback. Open, Intermediate and Nursery divisions NCA sanctioned, points counting for 2013-2014 season which ends 3/31/14. Entries limited, sign up soon to secure your spot. Rancher Division is not NCA sanctioned. First handler’s meeting will be held Sunday Oct. 6th at 7:30 am to be followed by Open, Intermediate/Non-Pro, Nursery and Rancher divisions. 50% of fees to cattle and event expenses, 50% to CA$H payouts! All payouts on a % scale & based on entries: top 30% winners in each division receive CA$H awards. 12 entries = 4 places paid. Beautiful foothill setting, overnighters okay, no hookups. Plenty of parking, water and porta-potty available. If grass is dry, no fire hazards please. Call for info on other accommodations. Dress code: jeans, western shirt, cowboy boots and hat. Enter early, runs limited to assure good cattle. Entries will close when runs are filled. We want to make sure we can accommodate all qualified handlers so please enter early so we know if we need to bring in extra cattle. Entries are open August 20th-Sept. 20th 2013, or until all runs are filled. Cash only after Oct. 1st. Handlers limited to entering 2 dogs per division until Sept. 20th. After Sept. 20th additional dogs may be run on a first come first serve basis if space is available. Check for full amount must come with entry and will be cashed immediately which will hold your run and guarantee cash awards. Cancellation policy: no refunds. Exception: 50% of fees returned only with licensed veterinarian’s written statement officially verifying a dog’s injury or illness. 100% refund if you can fill/substitute your run. The Ranch Rodeo is Saturday, Oct. 5th and any handlers who would like to enter that are more than welcome to come early and enter up. Non-Pro/NCA Intermediate combined Division: $100 entry fee, A Non-Pro handler has not received money for training, clinics, etc.; An NCA intermediate will follow NCA entry rules and will receive points accordingly. Arena course. Nursery Division: $100 entry fee, any handler with any dog born after Oct. 1, 2010 as per National Cattledog Assoc. rules for 2013/2014 season. Arena course. Rancher Division: $75 entry fee, any handler or dog that has not placed first in a cattle dog trial over 2 times. No open handlers in this division. Arena course. 4 Cent Ranch reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone for any reason, and reserves the right to cancel any trial for any reason. If a trial is cancelled, entries will be refunded immediately, in full, by 4 Cent Ranch.
