4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS BALI EXPERIENCE Bali still lives up to its name as the last paradise on earth. For the most part, Bali proved resilient to the tourist invasion, which means you can enjoy all the fun of the developed resorts while not far away experiencing the rural charm of Bali as it has been for centuries - golden beaches with spectacular sunsets, hillsides terraced in flowing rice fields, cool green hills and hospitable highland villages. For those interested in culture, its here that traditional customs, rituals and dances are dynamic everyday events. Bear in mind that no dance is performed for pleasure alone; each is based on a need to communicate with the Gods. But naturally youll need to visit Bali to understand why the Balinese are such in good terms with their Gods. Day 1 : Airport – Hotel Arriving in Bali, youll be met at the airport and taken to the hotel of your choice. The rest of the day is yours to do as much or as little as you like. Perhaps some shopping. a walk along one of Balis famous beaches, or maybe an afternoon relaxing by the pool. Day 2 : F/D Art and Volcano Tour with Lunch After breakfast, youll be introduced to the many varied faces of Bali. Beginning at Batubulan for the traditional Barong dance performance, youll visit the village of Celuk, famous for its fine gold and silverworks, the woodcarving village of Mas, an artists colony at Ubud, a sacred spring at Tampaksiring and finally Kintamani village, perched on the rim of the Batur volcanic basin. After lunch, visit the Kehen Temple and return to your hotel for a well earned rest. (B, L) Day 3 : Free Program Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure till the time of transfer to the airport. (B) Day 4 : Hotel-airport Last minute shopping for souvenirs before being transferred to the airport. (B)
