4 District officers & 62 officials found absent in Kupwara: Sachnews Jammu Kashmir KUPWARA, DECEMBER 20: The Additional Dy. Commissioner, Kupwara, Abdul Aziz Bhat along with a team of officers today paid an inspection to different Government offices. While checking the attendance of the offices, four District Officers which include Ex. Engineer of PHE & Irrigation, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer and District Sheep Husbandry Officer were found absent from duty unauthorizedly. The ADC also paid surprise inspection to offices of Block, REW, PHE, Irrigation, Handicrafts, KVIB, Municipal Committee, Employment, Animal Husbandry and Sheep Husbandry departments and found 62 employees absent from duty unauthorizedly. The officers were directed to initiate action under rules against the absentees while the suspension cases were recommended against the District Officers for further action to the higher authorities.
