4) I went to three well-known local news media offices on Oahu. I spoke to the appropriate people for having the manager of each media receive my request for an interview regarding Ending Corporal Punishment in Schools Act, and all three verified being in receipt of material sent by us. The material included a request for help in having this bill gaining publicity, as it would protect schoolchildren from harm while on school property, and that such crimes were going on throughout the nation of Hawaii too. I have turned over quite a packet of material to each Oahu media.
